Prince George’s County, MD (November 17, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident was reported during the morning hours in Prince George’s County that ended with injuries. Calls for assistance were received at around 6:15 a.m. on November 14.
According to reports provided by the Maryland State Police, multiple vehicles were involved in a collision on Suitland Parkway the incident blocked multiple westbound lanes of the road near Naylor Road. Delays were reported in the area, which extended approximately 1.5 miles from the scene of the crash.
Firefighters out of Prince George’s County and emergency medical service personnel responded to the scene to provide assistance. Medics provided care to the victims who suffered injuries as the firefighters and police worked to remove the damaged vehicles. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care. The crash is currently being investigated.
