Gaithersburg, MD (September 27, 2023) – Three people suffered injuries as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Tuesday morning in Montgomery County.
At around 5:30 a.m. on September 26, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue responded to the scene of an automobile collision on West Diamond Avenue.
Reports show that three vehicles collided on the roadway near the entrance of the National Institute of Standards & Technology campus at Bureau Drive. The incident prompted officials to shut down the roadway.
A white sedan involved in the accident suffered significant front-end damage and came to rest, blocking the road.
