Barstow, MD (August 29, 2023) A fatal accident reported on Sunday claimed one person’s life in the Barstow area. The accident took place just after 11:20 a.m. on August 27.
According to official reports, a collision between two vehicles took place on Hallowing Point Road. The incident prompted officials to shut down a portion of the roadway while they worked to clear the scene.
Medics were called to care for those harmed in the crash. One person had to be extricated from their vehicle by the Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene due to their injuries. EMS treated a second victim while on-site. The second victim was then transported by MEDEVEC to flow the victim to a local hospital for emergency care.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
